On 2/28/24 the Kapex Foundation in conjunction with the Beta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and the Hampton University Business Department, hosted the inaugural "Pirate Tank," event. This event featured a panel discussion between entrepreneurs followed by a live business pitch competition.
Brothers Charles Boyd BX Spr. 82 and Darryl Armstrong, BX Spr. 88 served as judges and shared invaluable critiques about each participants' proposals, pitches, and overall businesses plans.
The winner will receive $5,000 and the other participants will receive $750 ($500 from Atlanta Brand Central $250 from Kapex), their LLC fees paid (By Atlanta Brand Central) and they all will be connected with a female mentor in their field of business. (By Atlanta Brand Central).
